Introducing the world’s best preschool approach- Reggio Emilia (Italian) in India.
Reggio Emilia
Reggio e' per i bambini (Reggio is for the children)
This unique approach is fast taking the world by a storm… especially after Newsweek rated it the best amongst all preschool approaches in the world. In their article titled “The World's 10 best schools” they expressed, “ For preschools, we picked Reggio Emilia, in Italy 's Emilia-Romagna region, as an example of a grass-roots project that has become an international role model.”
Ibambni is one of the first pre schools to introduce this world class approach for the first time in India.
It is a ‘philosophical approach to working with children' that owes its origin to a small town (by the same name) in Northern Italy in the period shortly after World War II. The focus of this approach is listen to and value what children say and do, thus respecting the rights of children as individuals.
The essence of this approach is that Children are communicators and express themselves in “a hundred languages.” - Art, music, dance, building, writing, talking, singing, role play, painting etc. …and they construct their knowledge through experiences.
“Our image of the child is…rich in potential, strong, powerful, competent, and most of all, connected to adults and to other children.”
